The papier-mâché headed phenomenon return with Vol. II to a level of hype and buzz that no marketing machine could strategically conjure. The self-proclaimed “space-time voyagers” form a “mantra-rock, Dadaist, Pythagorean-Cubist orchestra”. They conquered the internet, and now everyone wants a piece of the action. 

Formed in 2019, the polka dotted, experimental math/prog-rock Canadian duo shot to fame in early 2026 on the back of their viral KEXP session. They perform anonymously as guitarist, Khn de Poitrine, and drummer, Klek de Poitrine. Now that everyone's cottoned on, shows are sold out, upgraded, and sold out again in a flash. There's a scrabble to get hold of their albums (Discogs recently announced that 2024's 'Vol.1' is their most sought after record) and, finally, their new record is being made available to us in the UK (alongside a much needed repress of Vol.I).  

And we're ALL IN for some of this spotty dotty madness!! You better be quick on the Pre-order button, too, coz we're told these slabs of wax can't be pressed fast enough....

With Vol. II, a dense, no-frills, high-impact record, the “Poitrine brothers” push their sound even further, with sharper dynamics, stranger structures, and a sense of humor that reveals itself only if you’re paying attention.

The recipe still revolves around the same three ingredients: acid techno, disco, and rock.
