Big one here from Silva Screen, the original soundtrack to The Hills Have Eyes, the classic 1977 American horror film written, directed, and edited by Wes Craven.
"The tapes had been lost for many years and I just recently came upon them in my storage. I had my friend Ron Hitchcock "bake" the tapes for 10 hours, and then transferred them into the Pro Tools digital format. This is the very first time that this music has been available to listen to." - DON PEAKE
Composer, Don Peake, has recently revisited his score and this vinyl release presents the newly discovered and remastered original tapes from the film. It follows the Carters, a suburban family targeted by a family of cannibal savages after becoming stranded in the Nevada desert. Made for only $230,000, the film has spawned may sequels and remakes and has gone on to become a cult classic.
