Muscles of Joy are a seven-piece band of women artists and filmmakers from Glasgow, Scotland.
Psychedellic-weirdness, made of local artists and filmmakers, combining everything from no wave to post punk to make a sound uniquely their own.
Homespun, primitive and catchy kind of post-punk, using gorgeous overlapping vocalisms, no-wave guitars, oddball lyrics, and homemade instruments.
