"The three of us started to play music together in the mid-eighties in Stevie Rooney's front room. Things didn't progress far. An early couple of gigs at The Parochial Hall and Key Youth Centre in East Kilbride were the only outings from early Only When I Glow incarnations. 40 years passed with a lot of shared cassettes of songs as we built up a vault of 40+ songs. Our COVID project became sharing song ideas on GarageBand on t'internet - resulting in a couple of demos of songs released on Spotify. Then, inspired by involvement in Secret Coast Songwriters masterclasses with James Grant and Bobby Bluebell, we decided to "go for it". And now here we are. 40 years later. Still united, across the globe, in our love for a beautiful chord sequence and a sentimental lyric. We really hope you enjoy our chords and lyrics. Stevie, Graeme and Stevie."
