Although not intentional, a lot of the work was done during winter, and as such, it has ended up as quite a wintry album, with sprinklings of snow and seasonal depression painting the overall imagery of the album. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA large part of the album is themed around my home town, Airdrie, which has shaped me into the artist I am today. In spite of it's flaws, I love my home and the people in it and it has inspired a lot of my songwriting as I've grown up, whether that be through the down to earth interactions with those around me, or the everyday beauty of the local wildlife.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album was co-produced between myself and Andy Monoghan, formerly of Frightened Rabbit.  The album was written in my home studio and recorded between my home studio and Andy's studio 312.
