Clorinde The Gardens Of Bomarzo

Etruscan Records
2nd July 2024

Format Info

Formed in 2005 in the city of Glasgow by Italian brothers Simone and Andrea Salvatici, Clorinde has been producing music based on a minimalist approach towards repetition, melodies, rhythm and sounds, resulting in beautiful fragile balance between tight cyclic structures and free form improvisation.

“Inspired by the ominous gardens also known as the “Villa of Wonders” or “Park of Monsters”, created in 1552 by Pirro Ligorio and commissioned by Prince Pier Francesco Orsini, this double album is a landmark release in terms of conceptual deification of a place that turns into something sonically extraordinary.” Etruscan Records.
